Lighting a Cuban cigar is more than a moment — it is a ritual steeped in heritage. With every draw you take part in a story more than two centuries in the making, carrying the soul of Cuba: its soil, its people and its patience. Each cigar is the product of generations of craftsmanship, passed leaf to leaf, hand to hand, with a reverence that simply cannot be hurried.
That tradition is protected in law. Genuine Cuban cigars are made totally by hand under the Denominación de Origen Protegida (D.O.P.) Habanos, using tobacco grown in legally defined regions such as the famed Vuelta Abajo. Only a select group of brands earn the right to be called Habanos — and every one we stock meets those exacting standards.
Whether you are drawn to the bold, cocoa-rich power of a Partagás Serie D No. 4, the timeless elegance of a Montecristo No. 2, or the romance of a Romeo y Julieta, the world of Habanos has something for you — sourced authentic and shipped fast across Australia.
The most iconic name in cigars
Cohiba — A Symbol of Status & Sophistication
Cohiba is not merely one of the finest cigars in the world — it is a byword for prestige. Once reserved exclusively for Fidel Castro and Cuba’s highest officials, these celebrated cigars are now yours to enjoy.
The story began in 1966 when Castro admired a cigar smoked by one of his bodyguards and set out to find the roller behind it. Production began at the elegant El Laguito mansion on the outskirts of Havana, and the blend was later refined into the icon we know today. Made public in 1982, the range grew from the original Lanceros, Coronas Especiales and Panetelas to include the Esplendidos and Robustos, followed by the celebrated Siglo series in 1992.
Every Cohiba draws on prized tobacco from the San Luis and San Juan y Martínez fields of the Vuelta Abajo — hand-rolled by master torcedores into a complex, balanced smoke of spice, earth and cream, with hints of cocoa and vanilla. It remains the ultimate expression of Cuban craftsmanship.
